WHATEVER BECAME OF THE POLICE WHO SHOT PEOPLE'S PETS FOR FUN?

Reports of police officers shooting pet dogs to death in the days immediately following Hurricane Katrina were met by shock and disbelief.  This video footage taken by photo journalist David Leeson of the Dallas Morning News shows it all.   Not only do they get Sgt. Mike Minton of the St. Bernard Sheriff's office to admit on film that he has been participating in the shooting of people's pets - they video tape two different trucks with men holding shot guns driving through the deserted streets and randomly "picking off" dogs who are just out looking for food and water.  This footage makes me sick to my stomach.  That this type of criminal behavior is not held accounted for is unacceptable.  Hiding behind the badges of law enforcement, these men are really just pathetic cowards.  How hard is it to stand on top of your vehicle and aim your rifle at an innocent animal?  The real men of law enforcement were out there saving human lives while these frat boys were getting their kicks.
